It’s time for our Living Room Part 2, and this is the room that’s probably gone through the most changes in 2020. There’s more at-home time, more people indoors at the same time, and more discord over who gets to watch the TV and when. Side note: when Hamilton dropped, my sister banned everyone from the living room so she could watch it uninterrupted, and I did the same thing right after LOL. Anyway, for families looking to make the most of their spaces, having it cater to multiple people of different age groups and interests is no easy task. Add in your fur (or non-fur) babies and you’ve got your hands full.
Most families aren’t walking around with homes that constantly stay pristine, and there is no energy to do a full clean every single day (shout out to the parents out here juggling way more than they’re given credit for), but you don’t have to worry about that. There are plenty of ways to keep your house relatively together and it still be a place that people aren’t afraid to sit in. It just takes imagination and… ::drum roll:: good storage. In Part 2, we’re looking at the all-purpose, active living room. So whether you call it living room, family room, den, TV room or playroom, we’ve got you covered.

Check out this sweet set up above. What’s really great about this particular space is everything is thought out and has a place, but it’s still family friendly. There’re fun colors, clever uses of storage, and there’s no worrying about trying to put everything away. Kids are kids; people are people. Things don’t always get put up, and we don’t need to hide everything either.
So here’s where you can get started working on your home. Check out these tips on ways you can give yourself the best living space for you and your family.
