New Year, New Collections, Part 2

Gooooooooodddd morning, everyone! It’s a great day in the neighborhood, family time this week has been bomb, and some much-anticipated packages finally got delivered today. Yay! Needless to say, I’m really pump right now, and I’m ready to get this thang rolling. Last week, I shared some new pieces from a few of my favorite consumer-friendly brands. Well, I thought about it, and I couldn’t just stop at three. I mean really. I just source from, and personally use, too many brands that are sharing new collections that I feel like I’m jipping some by leaving so many out. So I decided to share more new pieces from a few more of my favorite consumer-friendly brands.

West Elm: If you’re looking for a place with some contemporary and transitional styles and sustainable sourcing, West Elm has got what you need. They have a huge catalog of items so you could essentially get everything in one place, and they have taken part in the 15% Pledge to incorporate more Black employees and brands into their company and on their lineup. Seeing as how I love cuddles and a relaxed look, the Solana Papasan Double Chair brings me joy, and the Gemini Armoire is just such a cute idea! I want one…. and I’m not just saying that because I happen to actually be a Gemini. Promise.

Target: Ok, seriously. Who doesn’t love Target? I mean they have a little bit of everything, and when it comes to home decor, they have plenty of items at low prices that look absolutely fabulous. I mean there’s nothing else to really say about it other than to tell you exactly what I love that’s new, starting with the Morie 7pc Mix & Match Dining Set with Windsor + End Chairs. Listen, if the pandemic taught us anything, it was that we all need to take full advantage of making the most out of our homes, and dining outside is a must-have change of scenery to make me feel like I’m going out to the bar again this summer. So this is a great option for people looking for a new set with options. The other piece is the 18”x15” Rope Basket. It’s the rope detail for me, but also, I love basket storage. It makes me happy, and it feels cozy.

Burrow: Sometimes I find furniture retailers that have nice furniture, but even better accessories. Burrow is one of those places. They have some great storage-focused furniture pieces that you should definitely check out. What makes them a favorite for me, though, are their great throw and pillow sets. Yes, a pairing that seems so simple, but isn’t provided by most retailers. They coordinate the sets together, creating some great themes. Of their new drop, the Portal Pillow Cover Dark has all kinds of “Ooooo” floating off of it. Give me gold and geometric all day. I really like the look of the Twin Peaks Rug, too. They put together visual and physical texture, it comes in the two most typical rug sizes, and it’s pet friendly. Who else is ready to order??
