Wall to Wall: ORC Week 5

Good merning, good merning, good merning!! I hope you’re feeling fine and free on this here Thursday morning! Today, we’re entering the second half of the One Room Challenge, and our bedroom space is really giving us personality now; rich, moody personality. And who’s the star of the show for this week? None other than our fun, jungle boogie wallpaper.

Dandelion Peel & Stick Wallpaper from RoomMates Decor

When creating the look for the room, we definitely knew that we needed something on the walls that added some distinct flair. Since all the walls were set to be the same color, switching up the surfaces with some kind of pattern was ideal to add more interest in this small space. So we landed on wallpaper and found a peel and stick that blended with the wall color almost perfectly. The choice in a floral was to bring out another natural element that took into account the limited space of the room. While a plant could be added later, function is at the top of the list for the room, and there isn’t much additional room to add plants with the new furniture pieces and the contemporary style the clients enjoy.

We found the wallpaper at RoomMates Decor. They provide affordable wall solutions to give your space a new and updated look. The website helps in determining how much you need and the instructions for install are included in each roll. Delivery was super quick too, especially considering how inconsistent shipping times have been the past year. Installing the wallpaper, while somewhat tedious, was actually a pretty simple process and satisfying. With the peel and stick option, the learning curve for install was super small, too. Seriously, I can attest that if you want a weekend wall project, this is a great way to go.

In the end, the install was a success. The clients love the pattern. The room is now looking like the moody dream we envisioned. Now, it’s time to focus on filling in the space and adding all the details and finishing touches. Are you ready?
