Listen. This was my exact reaction when I realized that there’s only one week left in this challenge; full on minion face. You can add my sorrowful hum of, “oh no. Oh no. Oh no, no, no, no, no” to that, too. It’s been a doozy, but if there’s one thing I’m going to do, it’s get it done. I’m not top-rated in my Client Service for nothing!

So let’s talk about it. Honestly, it’s a typical situation. Everything starts off really great. You hit a minor snag and things start to snowball (although, I prefer water ice. Ha!) . Now I wouldn’t characterize the situation as being out of control, but the deadline is looming and the nightstands are still “In Transit”. Translation: I’m starting to sweat. The smile is still on my face though so that’s good, right???
If we’re looking at all the hiccups, I have to say I’ve held up a lot better than I thought I would, given that I have a boatload of other clients right now that I’m trying to work through. So here’s what’s left: finish molding, finish wallpaper (I’ll share THAT story later lol), put together wardrobe and vanity table and place in room. On top of that, we need to place the bed back in the right position, put in the nightstands (whenever they show up), hang the curtain rod and curtains, place the TV, and add in all the final organization and decor. No worries right?

…Pray for me.
In the meantime, the work continues!! We’re set to have all the wallpaper completely up this weekend, and the molding in at the top of the week. Once that’s done, everything else will be a breeze. I am a queen at assembling furniture, especially since I lived alone fully single for two years before meeting my husband. Yes, I did A LOT of assembling by myself, but that’s not important. Stay tuned next week for the final reveal. In the meantime, subscribe and share this blog. Then you know what to do: head over to the One Room Challenge here and see what your favorites have been doing. Look out for the reveal next week!! By-eeeeee!!!
