Hello, my dear, and welcome back! If you haven’t already noticed (although I’m sure you couldn’t miss it), it’s back to school time! That means there will be plenty of us parents, some with the kids in tow, grabbing supplies, study essentials, and dorm room basics. Now, with the pantomime still hanging around (yes, you read that right), there’s more attention being paid to things needed, or wanted, for your space. On top of that, I decided to bring back my favorite things! Yaayyy!!!! ::Round of applause::
So let’s take a look at what I’m loving this month to help you get ready for the new school year.

Urban Outfitters Deco Sun Headboard: I have seriously been in my Art Deco bag lately, and this just fits the bill. I love everything: the shape, the color, the material. It’s definitely a way to level up your bedroom. It is currently on backorder, though, so double check your timing needs, and then get that order placed ASAP so it’ll ship right out when available again.
The Container Store 3-Tier Rolling Cart, Teal: Who doesn’t love a rolling cart? First of all, these things work well for everyone: early learners, grade schoolers, college kids, even for us parents working from home or going back to school ourselves. It’s also super versatile, and you can simply roll it out when needed and then back away at your leisure.
Wild Sage 2-Piece Nesting Table from Bed, Bath, & Beyond: Gold and gold accent pieces are high on wish lists right now, and these nesting tables fall right in line. The tables look great and add some amazing functionality to spaces. Entertaining at the dorm? These come is handy as extra surfaces for the parties that your kids obviously aren’t going to ;).
Minted Garden Pillow: Listen, no one wants a boring space, especially a growing teen or a college-bound young adult. There’s no end to color and creativity with this decorative pillow. It includes some of the floral designs that are trending right now, AND it’s slightly abstract design gives it an urban feel.

Bloomist Beach Stone Vase: Adding plants or flowers to your space is always a great idea. Getting the right vases to hold them is just as important. I love the beach vibes with these Beach Stone Vases. They come in three sizes and add a beautiful texture both physically and visually. Fill it with your favorite bouquet or, if you have allergies like me, your fave faux greenery to set off the space in a new way. (Bloomist has bouquets and faux/live plants available, too!)
Sorbus Cosmetic and Jewelry Case at Macy’s: Girls just wanna have fun, right? Well, a good beat is now a part of that set up. And to make sure you keep your beat and your accessories in check, this is definitely a must have. I’m not typically into acrylics, but this Brown tint adds some depth and a little piece of luxe that I cannot deny.
Caraway Ceramic Cookware Set: If you’re looking for a starter cookware set for your college-bound kiddo, here’s a great option. First things first, the set is nontoxic. I could just end it there, because we are all about green products and building over here. But there’s more. They’re also nonstick, heat resistant up to 500 degrees, and come in some really fun colors.
Urban Outfitters Stella Tufted Wall Hanging: Good wall hangings are always a great way to add interest to walls. It’s different from your typical wall art, but still has the ability to add pattern or color to any space. I absolutely love the bohemian feel of this one, and the color is great, too. This piece will immediately add some fun to the decor of any dorm room or college apartment.
The Container Store Connecting Storage Bins: I love these things, because it makes clean up so easy! I like to keep things organized and the little one… well, she’s almost 7 and likes throwing things in something and running off to do something else. With these, I just throw on some labels and don’t have to worry about the rest. Everything will end up where it belongs, and I’m not losing my mind.
OK!! Those are my top picks for this month, and I can’t wait to see which ones you guys love most. Now, go forth and conquer them! Or at least, go forth and order your faves before they’re gone. And trust me, they will go quickly.
