Anyone else love Christmas?? Because it is the best time of the year. And since it’s the best time of the year, I usually have some level of fun, even if I’m just wrapping gifts for everyone. So now I’m left with a little dilemma: which fun thing do I talk about?

I’m landing on gingerbread houses. For the last 3 years or so, I’ve made a trip to Target and grabbed a gingerbread house for the holidays. With it, I get to spend some quality time with the hubby and little one just creating something fun and sneaking candy and icing lol. We ended up getting mini houses this time, so we could all create our own looks and then have one leftover for a final family showcase.

This year was no different, and since the little one keeps getting bigger (you really just can’t stop them from growing), she was able to do a lot more with her house. It was so much fun watching her ideas blossom, deciding to do a bright red door and candy knobs and a different drizzle on her roof. She let her artsy, and yummy, flag fly and I loved it. We ended the night with a Christmas jam session, dancing round and round until we couldn’t stand upright. It was truly a cherished moment.
