You get to build your perfect space for reading and writing. What’s it like?

Ooo. See you already know I have something cooking up in this head of mine. But for me, let’s switch it from reading and writing to an artist studio. See, I like to read and I do some writing (I mean, you’re reading it right now lol), but I like all my random art stuff that I do: coloring, rendering, painting. So far, I haven’t been able to capture the feel that I truly need to be able to do everything consistently. Oh but I have a dream.

It starts with an amazing view. I mean floor to ceiling windows along one wall that opens up to an expanse of nature: a simple yard with trees or on a hill that overlooks a body of water; something calming and relaxing. Then there’s shelving along an adjacent wall with all my drafting and paint supplies. In front of that is an easel and stool, ready to go for my next project.

Opposite the shelf wall, I have a living wall with a few 3D art pieces to add some depth. Below is a custom wood writing desk and chair, with a modernized art nouveau design. There’s a seating area behind that facing the open window with a jute rug and ottoman in the center. And I have an art nouveau-inspired chandelier at the ceiling. Well, that’s what I have so far. I’m sure some things will change or be added later, but it’s a start.

Tell me, what would your space be like?
