Happy New Year! I’m really feeling expectant and motivated this year to see what life has in store going forward. 2022 was a rough one for me, and my family, and seeing it go is bittersweet, but I’m looking forward to this new season. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been preparing for this next season for some time. New things are finally coming, and I’m getting excited.

That said, entering the new year presents its own challenges. There are two major ones that are on top of mind now, both of which I’m looking forward to. The first is entering a new stage of business. There are some major projects happening that I can’t quite reveal yet. The challenge is that they’re pushing me beyond my comfort zone and forcing me past my upper limit. Ever gotten in your own way with something you knew you were supposed to do? Yeah, that’s me. But no more (at least not with this lol)! I’m pulling up my big girl panties and getting to work.

The second major challenge is being more social. Yes, the part of me that’s a pure introvert has no problem sitting at home, relaxing and enjoying her own company. But let’s be honest, it’s about time I get back out there with people. Of course it’s good for business and relationships, but it’s also just good for the soul. There’s something about spending time with people, learning and connecting without assumption or judgement, that just makes things that much more fun and refreshing. And I need more fun and refreshment.
