What is the greatest gift someone could give you?
Oh, I’d have to say that it would need to be something that shows that someone truly gets me. In a lot of ways I grew up very atypical. My mom made sure we went to the library every summer break, so I was more into books than video games. While I listened to what was popular on the radio, I also really enjoyed musicals and classical music. So I’ve grown up with somewhat of an outsider, misunderstood personality.
That said, it doesn’t take much to really get me and what I love. I mean, if I you asked me straight up, I’d tell you books, anime, and food. But for it to be the greatest gift, it’d have to be so in tune with my kind of thing that it blows my mind. Like a real “that’s my type” kinda moment. So let me tell you what my sister did for Christmas.
She’d found a gift for me a year or more before this last Christmas came. In fact she almost gave it to me last year, but decided to switch it up for something else and hold it for this year. She’d been telling me about knowing this gift for the entire year. She was almost more excited than I was. So when I finally got the gift, I really didn’t know what to expect. But when I tell you it was so lit. This woman bought me the Disney Villain stories, in hardback, and she bought every. Single. One.
When I tell you the mountain of joy that welled up inside of me. First of all, books. Second of all, Disney. And third of all, Villians?! I’m done. Tell me bought your greatest gift now, cause this one for me was everything. I’ll keep going. Tell me below.
