In what ways do you communicate for your business?
There are three ways we communicate in the business: through meetings, presentations, and correspondence. Meetings help us align everyone involved. We use the meetings to get to know our clients and to get a deeper understandings of overall design needs. It’s when our client’s have the opportunity to get to know our process and become familiar with the different elements of their specific project.
Presentations are essential in our line of work. We use presentations to share our design solutions. We use a variety of things like floor plans, mood boards and renderings to communicate how the design will come together and how materials will play a part in the finished look. We also use presentations as a way to discuss design updates, an estimated budget, and an estimated timeline for your project.
Our last form of communication is correspondence. That’s any phone calls, text messages, and emails that are exchanged throughout the process. These usually consist of progress updates of simple questions that may come up for either us or the client. The whole point is to be able to maintain a level of connection throughout the project, and to keep things running as smoothly as possible.
