What experiences in life helped you grow the most?
Absolutely the Harry Potter stories. I was introduced to Potter and Hogwarts back when I was in 6th grade. By then, the second and third books had been written, but I hadn’t heard about it until my library teacher read it to us.
After I learned all about the Hogwarts and the wizarding world. I went to the next school Book Fair and bought a copy of the first book on my own. It was probably the most exciting thing I was ever able to get myself! Christmas that year, I got books 2 and 3. Then the next summer came book 4, and I never missed a series drop after that. Have I also seen the movies? Yes, and while I love the books more, I’m fully aware how the stories have captured hearts and how it helped to form the visuals of some of the very things I read about for so long.
The point of this is to say that it’s helped me understand my love of the book series. It’s helped me in connecting the stories I read to the stories I watch. But most of all, it’s help me be ready for HBCU Hogwarts, and the stroll party in the dungeons! I stand with all my Ravenclaws against Slytherins in their own house party. We bigger, we better, we stand taller. Respectfully, from one of the Ravishing Ladies of Ravenclaw.
Lol all in fun. Love to every house. And if you don’t know what I’m talkin’ bout, you’re just gonna have to Google it. 😜
