You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?
Ok, there are only two ways I would take a cross-country trip, and both would depend on what we have planned.
The first option is a plane. It would be the easiest way to travel if I had one destination and everything I want to do was in that destination. So, if I decided to hit up Vegas or drop into LA, a plane is my travel method of choice. The flight would be long but a lot faster than any other method, not to mention that this fantasy trip is first-class, so I’d be riding in absolute comfort. And who doesn’t want to be comfortable?
Now, when I hear cross-country trip, I immediately think of a road trip or an athletic event. So my next choice would actually be by car. I grew up on road trips, and I actually tend to enjoy them overall. If I was going away on an extended stay, and I had the time to just explore the sites, I’d absolutely take a car, most likely a luxury SUV, to travel cross country. You get a chance to stop and see some great sites and explore good food along the way. It’s just a matter of knowing where to stop and where not to stop. 👀
What would be your ideal cross country travel method?
