ORC, Round 2!

Good merning, good merning, good merning. I am dropping in today with a little announcement. If you haven’t already guessed, I am participating in the Spring ’23 One Room Challenge!

I’m going to be honest: I’m not even a little bit prepared for it this year lol. The last time I did this was Spring ’21, and I had the room set, a design completed, materials already ordered, and all that stuff. This time?! I had absolutely no intentions of even doing this until about a week ago. I have no idea how I’m going to design this room, and I have purchased nothing yet. God is simply leading the way, and I’m following along.

For some background, the One Room Challenge is a biannual event created to promote interior design in all its forms; a positive view of what interior design is and what it takes to complete a space. For me, participating this year is more about solidifying one particular space in my home as an important hub for the family and guests. Again, I’m still figuring out what to do, but I’ll share more soon. The event starts on April 5th, and I’ll be sharing weekly updates. Follow along for 8 weeks to see how I go about transforming a space.

Can you guess which room I’m working on? Tell me in the comments.
